Skardu, Hunza and Khunjerab(10-Days Featured Tour)

Skardu is the largest district of the Northern Areas. Baltistan is home to some of the highest peaks in the world, the Karakoram Range, Skardu is very popular with Mountaineering Expeditions. Skardu is the capital of Gilgit-Baltistan, which is self-governing territory under control of Pakistan Government. It is one of the most beautiful places in Pakistan. Skardu is situated at the height of 2438 meters above the sea level in backdrop of beautiful peaks of Karakoram. Sadpara Lake in Skardu is situated on height and surrounded by glacial mountains. There are several beautiful carving in the surrounding which is reminiscent of Tibetan Buddhist of 8th century. You can watch this preserved history on Skardu-Sadpara-Deosai road which is only 3 km away from Skardu town. A beautiful lake named Kacchura Lake is situated about 32 km from Skardu town. It is full of brown trout and its banks are adorned with natural flowers. Another name of this beautiful lake is “Shangrila Lake”. In spring you can also see peach, apple and apricot trees laden with fruits. You can enjoy boat-ride in this lake which is memorable experience.
Situated at an elevation of 2,438 meters, Hunza Valley's tourist season is from May to October. The temperature in May is maximum 27oC and minimum 14oC. The October temperatures are: maximum 10oC and minimum 0oC.My most memorable trip to Hunza Valley, a gem hidden in Karakorum, up in the north of Pakistan. Beautiful mornings, mesmerizing noon, and romantic evenings of Hunza are hard to forget. The visitors to Hunza are overwhelmed by the rugged charm, the fragrant breeze singing through graceful poplar trees and the velvet-like green carpet of wheat fields, set against the background of snow-covered mountains. Karimabad, the capital of Hunza, offers an awe-inspiring view of Rakaposhi (7,788 meters).
